At Novus Gower we have a great opportunity to join our education team as a Cover Supervisor for Novus Gower, our prison education provider at HMP/YOI Parc. This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis working 40 hrs per week.
What the role entails
In this role, you will work with, and be supported by, our amazing team of dedicated professionals to mentor our learners to develop their education which will in turn help them to secure future employment opportunities post release. You will need patience, passion and understanding in your approach to our learners who want to learn and improve. You will be expected to deliver pre-planned work and supervise prisoners on a range of activities related to a number of subject areas with a strong emphasis on Literacy, numeracy and ICT.
