We have an exciting opportunity at our Openshaw Campus to join us as Employability and Partnership Co-ordinator on a permanent, full time (35 hours per week) basis.
This role is pivotal in planning, coordinating, and executing business development and innovation events, whilst also fostering further growth across the Greater Manchester community. The role will see you driving business growth, requiring high levels of communication with a wide range of stakeholders and a strong ability to build and nurture relationships within the business community.
Additional parts of the Business Development responsibilities will see you engaging with employers to target the needs of the community through the local skills improvement plan, whilst also contributing to the national needs across the UK.
As an Employability and Partnership Co-ordinator You will be responsible for developing and securing a wide range of work-related activities, supporting learners, tracking, monitoring, and enhancing their employability skills and curriculum. You will be required to work in partnership with the College’s Careers, Employability and Welfare team, the Student Experience team and with curriculum departments to deliver an outstanding professional employability service. This will be achieved by offering a range of training and support for learners through 1:1 and group support prior to and during work placements, volunteering, projects, mock interviews, applications for work and other work-related activities.
