We have an exciting opportunity to join our Student Support and Foundation Learning Department as an Emotional Health and Wellbeing Practitioner on a permanent, full-time (35 hours per week) basis.
You will be required to travel; this role will be across multiple sites.
The purpose of this role is to be a member of the TMC Cross-College Emotional Health and Wellbeing team, providing effective and timely wellbeing support and interventions for student in need of Emotional Health and Wellbeing support.
Emotional Health and Wellbeing practitioners will work alongside the Pastoral and Safeguarding team lead to map and develop close working relationships with a whole range of local services in their area. This is to enable an integrated community response to meet the wellbeing needs of students. This will involve working alongside all stakeholders including students and families. Emotional Health and Wellbeing practitioners will be responsible for the planning and delivery of the support offer for students.
You will work with the Director of Safeguarding and Emotional Health & Wellbeing to manage and respond to referrals. You will also be a point of contact for advice, guidance, and support for colleagues within the college.
