We now have an exciting opportunity to join UCEN Manchester part of LTE Group as for a Counselling Tutor who can contribute to delivery on our new Foundation Degree and BA (Hons) top-up Degree course (validated by Sheffield Hallam University) and the ABC Level 4 counselling programmes within the Directorate of Counselling, Health and Social Sciences.
The role of Counselling Tutor is offered on a permanent, part time (29.6 hours per week) basis.

What the role entails
This is an opportunity to develop teaching and learning within the Counselling discipline and to support the holistic development and counselling competences on these programmes. The programmes are part of UCEN Manchester (within The Manchester College) and students exit as qualified counsellors. A key aspect of the role will be to programme lead the Level 4 Diploma.
It is expected that you will be a qualified counsellor within the sector and will hold counselling/psychotherapeutic qualifications. You should have a Level 5 or a degree qualification and have experience of counselling practice and be a member of a professional body.
There will be opportunities to course lead within the area and to develop sector, research and practice informed programme material.
