What the role entails
As the Food Safety trainer at HMP Wandsworth, you will play a crucial role in helping our learners develop essential skills that will serve them throughout their lives and possible employment opportunities upon release. You will be responsible for effectively delivering the Highfield Food safety level 2 qualification and ensuring that all learners successfully complete the multiple choice exam at the end of each day. Therefore, the ability to work to a deadline is essential for this role.
Your passion for education and dedication to our learners' success will make you a valuable asset to our team. This is an amazing opportunity to work as part of a close knit, supportive management team who are committed to staff wellbeing. This is a permanent part-time role, 2 days. Monday – Tuesday 8 to 5. All work takes place on site within the working hours and there is not a requirement to complete any additional work during the evening or weekends.
