This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and innovative Digital Learning Adviser to join the LTE Group’s central Learning Technology team on a fixed term (to December 2022), full time (37 hours per week) basis. Working closely with the Quality Manager leading on digital learning, you will collaborate with curriculum teams to identify relevant and engaging external digital resources and design and develop new digital learning content, to support a blended approach to teaching, learning and assessment. You will:
Support teachers to improve and enhance the quality of students’ learning experience through use of the VLE, Microsoft Teams and other digital platforms and technologies for teaching, learning, and assessment
Curate existing external and internal digital content and resources, working with curriculum teams to identify and promote relevant and engaging subject-specific online learning materials
Work collaboratively with curriculum managers and teachers to design and develop engaging, creative and accessible online learning resources such as video material, screencasts and interactive learning and assessment packages for both teacher-led online lessons and independent study
Support teachers and students in developing skills, competence and confidence in digital skills The right person for the role will have:
Experience of using a virtual learning environment
Experience of advising and supporting others in the use of learning technologies to enhance teaching, learning and assessment
Experience of developing creative, accessible and engaging digital learning resources
Demonstrable enthusiasm for the use of technology in education and training contexts
High-level research and evaluation skills
