To support the ongoing successes and development across The Manchester College we are now seeking to appoint an inspirational leader to drive forward the college’s student experience agenda.
As Assistant Principal Student Support & Experience you will take the leading role in defining the direction of Student Services across this expansive college, delivering an outstanding experience and building an aspirational culture for all, whilst fully conversant of wider regional and national policies. As an active member of the college’s management team, you take accountability for the planning and delivery of the student experience whilst managing financial and operational performance. You will lead an embedded team of dedicated experts to raise attainment and aspirations and to ensure students are supported across all areas as they achieve and progress through the college and beyond.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable evidence of leadership and management in a student development role in a complex and service-led educational establishment. Importantly, they must be innovative in their thinking capacity, build relationships with consummate ease and have the strategic thinking and planning skills to succeed in a constantly evolving and scalable group structure. Adding to this, they must have the ability to drive a progressive agenda, be purposeful in approach and work as part of a leadership team that will shape the long-term careers of its learners.
