We have an exciting opportunity to join our Supported Learning Department as a Tutor (Exams Assessor) on a permanent, part time (18.5 hours per week) basis.
As a Tutor (Exams Assessor) you will provide supervision of your curriculum area, ensuring that you meet budget, quality and operational targets. You will deliver high quality, learner-focused education providing a secure and friendly environment in order for your students to succeed. In your role you will plan, lead and develop the curriculum area within the establishment to ensure compliance with the national curriculum framework, the integration of functional skills, best practice and quality targets.

Including the theoretical basis underlying psychometric tests, such as the concepts of validity and reliability; standard deviations and the normal curve; raw scores, standard scores, quotients, percentiles and age equivalent scores; the concept of statistically significant discrepancies between scores; standard error of measurement and confidence intervals.
