We now have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Sports Technician on a fixed term (12 months), full time (37 hours per week) basis.
In this role you will support and develop the personal, social and health education of learners within a specific business unit, for all age groups. This includes using action plans and target setting, alongside utilising internal and external support agencies.
To support the achievement of the programme of study, and encourage progression routes into a desired employment sector.
To prepare learners for employment and active citizenship within society beyond their time at The Manchester College.
In order to do this, you will need:
Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics or equivalent
Qualified to at least level 4 in Mentoring, Youth Work, Counselling or Advice & Guidance
Evidence of effective use of ICT systems and programs; including Microsoft Office
Experience in working in the sport or leisure industry
Experience in managing external bookings
