Total People are recruiting Learning Coaches who will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, reviewing, and assessing students on the Conveyancing Technician - Level 4 Standard and Licensed Conveyancer – Level 6 Standard.
If you are working as a Conveyancer, but want a change of career, this could be ideal for you! We will train you how to be a Learning Coach, and you can help nurture the next generation of conveyancers.
As a Learning Coach you will support apprentices to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours that are required to be demonstrated within the apprenticeship. You will be required to complete guidance and mock end-point assessments to ensure that apprenticeships are ready for the independent assessment at the end of their apprenticeship.
Your role will also include meeting apprentices on site at their employers to support via coaching and mentoring sessions one a one-to-one bases to help embed the knowledge and skills that have been learnt in the classroom or via our online learning platform. You will use our e portfolio – OneFile to monitor the apprentices progress and to ensure that apprentices are recording their training and development through the programme and collecting evidence to support the assessment of their attainment of the knowledge, skills and behaviours within the apprenticeship.
You will build good relationships with the employers that we work with and complete tripart reviews to ensure that employers and apprentices know where they are up to with their apprentice and what actions and steps to take to progress onwards.
Working closely with our Tutor, you will monitor the attendance and the progress of the learners throughout their taught sessions and online self-directed learning.
Experience of working within conveyancing at some level is essential, as well as an understanding of the industry, so that you can support apprentices to put their teaching and learning into context for the apprenticeship and prepare them for the End-Point Assessment. It would be an advantage if you have had experience of supporting/mentoring within your career or have worked previously with apprentices, but this is not essential.
You will be expected to embed maths and English into the apprenticeship to ensure that learners that do not have the required level Functional skills or equivalent can pass the exams.
