We have a great opportunity to join our Education team as a Trainer in Food Safety for Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Pentonville, on a permanent, part time working 25.9 hours per week.
What the role entails
We are looking for a passionate individual who has experience in the Food Safety sector and wants to share this knowledge with young offenders aged 21 and above. As the Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high quality, learner-focused Food Safety training, supporting the learners’ needs to progress through the course and achieve a qualification in a vocational setting.
We will support you at all times in your development, providing a comprehensive induction programme where you will shadow other Trainers in their roles; a week-long prison specific induction; help for you to gain teaching and assessing qualifications (if not already held); and assign an experienced member of the team to be your buddy.
