The primary role of the SENCO will be to raise standards of Total People’s High Needs and SEND provision across all programmes by ensuring a challenging and exciting curriculum is delivered ensuring that the Total People meets its legal obligations in respect of the Code of Practice, legislation, local and national guidelines.
The SENCO will work with the Cluster Managers and the Business Improvement Team to improve practice by ensuring positive approaches to curriculum development, the planning and preparation of schemes of work, assessment and achievement, monitoring learning and teaching across the provision and the support and development of staff.
Due to the nature of the business you will be required to have a flexible and adaptable approach.
This role allows the flexibility to work remotely as well as from one of our Northwest sites. You will also be required to attend business in various locations throughout the Northwest.
We will provide you with all the equipment you need and we have great support teams on hand to enable you to work remotely.
This post is offered on a permanent basis, working 37 hours per week. Due to the nature of this post you must be willing to travel to various locations within the Northwest.
