We now have an exciting opportunity to join us as an Achievement Tutor on a permanent, part time (18.5 hours per week) basis.
As directed by the Head of Department English, maths and Progress, manage allocated students/groups students and deliver a highly effective tutorial and pastoral programme which ensures the overall academic, pastoral, social and behavioural progress of students is tracked and supported so students achieve outstanding retention, achievement, progress and progression outcomes.
In order to do this, you will need:
A teaching / assessing (as appropriate) qualification and subject-specialist qualification at Level 4 (Level 5 – new standards) with a commitment to obtain the relevant outstanding Level 4 (Level 5 – new standards) qualification within a specified time scale.
English and Maths - must be qualified to a minimum of Level 2.
A demonstrable track record of effective teaching and delivering in the subject specialism.
