We have a great opportunity to join our Education team as a Local Education Manager for Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Isis offered on a permanent, full-time basis working 37 hrs per week.
What the role entails
As a Local Education Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running, management and co-ordination of the service within an establishment, working directly with the prison Governor and education lead. Strategically planning and co-ordinating effective teaching and learning plans in compliance with the Novus quality assurance.
HMP & YOI Isis is a well-resourced provision with extremely inclusive practice between the education provider, Governor and Prison team. We are looking for someone with vision, passion, and resilience to make impactful changes that will enable prisoners to gain both accreditation and the skills to gain employment or enter FE on release.
