We have an exciting opportunity to join our Business, Computing & Digital Industries Department as a ILM Tutor (Level 3 & 5) on a permanent, part time (11.1 hours per week) basis. * Pro Rata Salary £6,237.62 - £11,738.20.
As a ILM tutor you will be responsible for the delivery of ILM L3 and L5 courses at our St Johns campus which include topics such as motivating employees, delegating work, training and coaching colleagues, developing yourself, and presenting/briefing a workforce. Deliver will include up to two evenings a week and one session in the afternoon. We are looking for experienced tutors who can organise their own workloads, effectively plan and deliver good quality lessons, assess work submitted accurately against the course criteria, and provide robust feedback to learners. We are also expanding our business-related course provision and there will be opportunities to convert this role into a full time contract.
In order to do this, you will need:
A teaching / assessing (as appropriate) qualification and subject-specialist qualification at Level 4 (Level 5 – new standards) with a commitment to obtain the relevant outstanding Level 4 (Level 5 – new standards) qualification within a specified time scale.
English and Maths - must be qualified to a minimum of Level 2.
A demonstrable track record of effective teaching and delivering in the subject specialism.
