We have a great opportunity to join our Education team as a - Life Skills – Maths of Life Trainer for Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Hindley, on a permanent, full time (37 hours per week) basis.

What the role entails
We are looking for a individual who has experience of delivering life skills incorporating practical maths. As the Life Skills Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high quality, learner-focused training, supporting the learners’ needs to progress through the course and achieve. You will be working with learners at HMP Hindley to develop budgeting, time management and household management skills in order to live independently. The successful candidate will need to deliver practical maths and life skills, developing and delivering a course, which includes self-care, preparing to work and nutrition, underpinned with maths.
