We have a great opportunity to join our education team as a Teacher - Music Technology Facilitator - for Novus, our prison education provider at HMYOI Wetherby. This position is offered on a permanent, full-time basis working 37 hrs per week over 4.5 days. As a Music Technology Facilitator/Teacher you will be responsible for teaching, developing, and delivering high quality, learner focused education. This is an exciting opportunity to work with the prison to develop the young people’s passion for their Music. Many of the young people have an interest in Music, in particular writing their own lyrics, rapping, recording, and producing new beats with our audio mixing software. Some may have interests in DJing, learning to play instruments, or singing.
The groups here at HMYOI Wetherby are small with no more than 8 young people.
