This Guidance Worker role is offered on a permanent basis, working 37 hours per week. You will be based at HMP Rye Hill, working with adults aged 18 and above, please visit www.justice.gov.uk/contacts/prison-finder to find out more.
The purpose of this role is to support and offer guidance and advice to learner’s smooth transition through induction, time in custody and resettlement into the community.
To do this successfully you’ll need to:
To hold level 3 information, advice and guidance qualification.
To hold level 2 qualifications in literacy and numeracy.
Experience of contributing to an IAG service that meets quality standards
Must have experience of working in an IAG Role.
Must have relevant experience of conducting initial assessments and supporting learning of individuals and groups
Have experience of working with groups of learners with a range of abilities
