We now have an exciting opportunity to join our new and evolving T-Level Health and Science department as a Clinical Lead tutor in T-Level Healthcare on a permanent, full-time or part-time basis at our Centre of Excellence for Health and Social Care at the Openshaw campus.
In collaboration with the Manchester University NHS Trust, we are successfully delivering our growing T-Level Healthcare course in Assisting Adult Nursing. The T-Level Health qualification has been developed with over 133 leading health sector bodies, employers and expert practitioners as a high-quality, work-focused alternative to A-Levels. As Clinical Lead tutor in T-Level Healthcare you will work at our industry-standard Ward and Care suite, with our SimMan mannequins and Holo-Lens virtual reality software to help our students to develop the skills they need for working in the NHS.
As a Clinical Lead tutor, you will develop your passion for educating the Healthcare workforce of the future, playing a pivotal role in the continued development and delivery of the innovative T-Level Health qualifications. If you are a clinician without a teaching qualification, we will support you through a paid Cert Ed/PGCE and provide a reduced timetable to allow you to complete it. You will receive additional support from our expert Advanced Practitioner team on all aspects of lesson planning . You will also work closely with our Clinical Educator, based at Manchester Foundation NHS Trust in supporting our T Level students while on placement.

To be successful in the role of Clinical Lead Tutor, you will need:
Recent experience of working as a Nurse, Allied Healthcare Professional or Senior Healthcare Assistant in the NHS.
Level 2 qualifications in both English and maths.
A teaching / assessing qualification or commitment to work towards alongside the role.
Health-related qualification at minimum Level 4.
Enhanced DBS check.
Experience of recent delivery on Health and Social Care-related courses also desirable.
