We currently have an great opportunity for a self-driven and enthusiastic individual to join our HR team as the Head of Employee Relations on a full time (37 hours per week), Permanent basis with flexible working - Working from Home with a requirement to travel couple of days per week as and when necessary
As the Head of Employee Relations, you will be responsible for facilitating relationships with employees and Trade Unions with the aim of building a positive, engaged and productive flexible working environment.
You are required to hold a CIPD Level 7 qualification, with experience of working operationally with a wide variety of stakeholders. You should be able to demonstrate an ability to build relationships and be a proven influencer, with experience of delivery of elements of people strategy during periods of continuous change.
Some of the key responsibilities included in the role of Head of Employee Relations are:
Develop and implement an ER strategy, with a focus on developing a positive Employee Relations climate during complex organisational changes
Design and implement a Colleague Engagement Framework with the sole purpose of providing a channel(s) for colleagues to have their say, share ideas and feedback on strategic proposals and other business plans
Lead the relationship and key negotiations with the recognised Trade Unions and other representative forums as appropriate, with a view to securing business performance, employee engagement and legal compliance
Through a highly professional team ensure efficient and effective handling of all casework, managing grievance procedures, and facilitating early intervention where possible in conjunction with other stakeholders
Investigate and resolve complex or critical industrial relations issues in a timely and effective manner working closely with HRBP’s to develop OD interventions with an aim to reduce formal casework.
Manage disputes and business continuity planning for industrial action
Work in conjunction with HR SLT colleagues ensure HR policies are development, redesigned and reviewed in line with best practice, legal requirements and in support of LTE Group strategic objectives
Support, guide and manage a team of HRA specialists to provide Employee Relations and employment policy advice, interventions, & solutions as well as insight, training, and expertise to meet business unit needs.
Collate and analyse employee feedback across all levels on a regular basis and revising people programs and policies to generate more positive outcomes.
In partnership with relevant HR SLT colleagues participate in and/or lead on projects that involve employee engagement, performance, and continuous improvement
Create a working environment where Power BI is the main source of workforce planning, People analytics and trend analysis thus ensuring effective resourcing plans and People Plans are robust, sustainable, and fit for purpose across the Group
Represent LTE Group in contract negotiations, meetings, and negotiations with employees and recognised Trade Unions.
