We have a great opportunity to join the HR Team as Head of Performance and Pensions on a permanent, part time (29.6 hours per week) basis.
Reporting to the Group HRD you will lead in researching, developing and delivering a Group Pension strategy and a Total Remuneration Framework (TRF) that embraces our aspiration to become the Employer of Choice and meets the needs of the Group moving into the future.
You will deliver these two strategic themes by working in partnership with our senior management teams to design, implement and monitor performance in all of the Group businesses. You will be responsible for ensuring reporting complies with public-sector regulations, governance and are legally compliant.
This is a key role and you will be working flexibly across the Group to provide strategic leadership and professional advice and challenge to the senior leadership team around our People Plan. Strategically working alongside other members of the HR Leadership team you will support the organisation’s resilience model and provide professional advice and guidance where appropriate.

In order to do this role, you will need:
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Chartered Member (MCIPD) Awarded
Masters in HRM or equivalent
Hay job evaluation accredited
Extensive experience in the administration of final salary pension schemes within a complex organisation.
Extensive experience of developing and delivering Total Renumeration strategies.
Extensive experience as a reward specialist.
Experience of pension’s regulations and implementing pension schemes.
Experience of working within both public and private sector at an operational level.
