We have a great opportunity across the Tees, Wear and Northumberland region as a Hub Manager (Exit Service) on a fixed term (Maternity Cover 12 months), full time (37 hours per week) basis. As Exit Service Hub Manager, you will manage Employment and Resettlement Co-ordinators and the DPS Exit service across four prisons: HMP Northumberland, HMP Durham, HMP Holme House and HM YOI Deerbolt on the DPS contract only.
This will involve ensuring our learners are prepared for further education, work or training upon release from custody and will include the delivery of sector-based workshops, CV preparation and the creation of Personal Development Plans as well as one to one sessions with learners. The successful applicant will be based at our north east regional office but will work across all sites as part of their working week. They will manage a team of 8 Employment & Resettlement Coordinators.
To do this successfully you'll need to:
Have a teaching qualification, minimum Cert Ed or PGCE
Hold a degree or equivalent (including equivalent life / career experience)
Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
Implementing and managing continuous quality assurance and improvement procedures
Successful partnership working
