Total People are looking to recruit a Learning Coach who will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, tutoring, and assessing students on the L2 & L3 standards. This post is offered on a permanent basis, working 37 hours per week, based at our Wythenshawe Campus (we would consider part time applications).
The Learning Coach will support the apprentices to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours that are required to be demonstrated within the apprenticeship. This will consist of coaching and mentoring sessions, knowledge delivery through teaching sessions that will be run at our classroom and workshops. You will be required to teach in both the classroom and the workshop environment, complete guidance and mock end point assessments to ensure that apprenticeships are ready for the independent assessment at the end of their apprenticeship.
You will work closely with other Learning coaches to ensure that the skills and knowledge learnt in the classroom will be embedded in the workplace. You will take part in discussions with employers to build good relationships and be involved in updating all parties on the apprentice’s journey through progress reviews.
You will be expected to embed maths and English into your delivery to ensure that learners that do not have the required level of Functional skills or equivalent can pass the exams.
