Novus is seeking a creative and motivated Prison Education Teacher to join our team at HMP Oakwood on a part-time basis, delivering vocational learning in First Aid, Waste and Sustainability and Warehousing. This is a rewarding opportunity to use your subject knowledge to inspire learners, build their confidence and help them develop practical skills for future employment. Experience and/or qualifications in one or more of these areas is desirable, but full training and support will be provided to enable the successful candidate to upskill and deliver a varied suite of qualifications within the vocational curriculum.
We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Oakwood, working as a Prison Education Teacher in First Aid, Waste and Sustainability and Warehousing. This is a permanent, part-time position, working 26 hours per week.

HMP Oakwood is a Category C men’s prison located in Featherstone, Staffordshire, near Wolverhampton. It is one of the largest and most modern prisons in the United Kingdom.
