This opportunity is based at our City Centre campus (CCM), working as a Graphic Design Teacher on a permanent, part-time basis (28 hours per week).

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver high-quality, learner-focused education that nurtures creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.
• Supervise and develop the curriculum, ensuring compliance with the curriculum framework quality standards, best practise and achievement targets are met.
• Foster a supportive learning environment where students can explore and succeed.

What We’re Looking For:

• An experienced Graphic Design Teacher with experience in a further education setting.
• Able to collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and program effectiveness.
• Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective instruction.
• A professional who stays current with industry trends and emerging technologies, consistently enhancing their teaching methodologies to deliver the highest quality education.
• Commitment to helping students achieve their full potential in a creative and collaborative atmosphere.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A teaching qualification and subject-specialist qualification at Level 4 (Level 5 – new standards) with a commitment to obtain the relevant outstanding Level 4 (Level 5 – new standards) qualification within a specified timescale.
• English and Maths - must be qualified to a minimum of Level 2
• Professional experience in Graphic Design or Media related subject, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
• A demonstrable track record of effective teaching and delivery to post 16 students at level 2 and level 3.
• Knowledge and experience of working with a range of vocational awarding bodies and the internal verification process.
• Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud.
