We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Hull, working as a Learning and Skills Worker. This role is offered on a Fixed Term (Maternity cover 12 months), part-time basis, working 22.2 hours per week.

HMP Hull is a Category B men's local prison located in Kingston upon Hull in England. HMP Hull accommodates prisoners on remand to the local courts. The prison is operated by His Majesty's Prison Service. The prisons aim is to create an environment in which staff and prisoners feel safe. The prison’s mission is to provide a secure, safe, and rehabilitative environment that encourages positive change and prepares inmates for a successful reintegration into society.
Role Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be recruited as a Learning and Skills Worker, providing learning support with the aspiration to develop within teaching. You will provide support in the form of teaching cover while developing your skills and experience. When covering teaching sessions, you will be paid in accordance with teaching pay scales.
